Comcast Editing Suite

Here is the Comcast editing suite which is located in Elmhurst, Il where I edit on Friday mornings. The two pictures were taken with my Nokia cell phone. Believe it or not I actually helped my fellow public access producer, Larry Conklin, put together a scenic show where a few photos came from the cell phone.

Here is the camera I use for many of my productions. It is a Sony DCR-TRV340 Digital 8 camcorder. It has an external microphone jack as well as a headphone jack so you can monitor audio coming in from various sources. It has firewire and USB terminals as well so you can hook it into a computer for easy downloading. The camera has a a/v in/out as well. The camera has a memory stick slot so it doubles as a still camera. When I bought this camera six years ago I paid $650.00 for it.
I have used this for video taping weddings, dance concerts, music performances, family events and seminars and have used the still picture function for web page design. I am very happy with my camera.
